1. Overview

CommissionCoach ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

2. Information We Collect

Account information: When you register, we collect your email address and a hashed password. We do not store your password in plain text.

Session data: We store the content of your practice sessions, including your messages, the AI seller's responses, your selected seller persona and market conditions, your score, and the session timestamp.

Usage data: We may collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited and features used, to improve the product.

Payment information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number — only a Stripe customer ID and subscription status.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account
• To deliver the practice and coaching features of the Service
• To display your session history
• To enforce usage limits (free tier: 3 sessions)
• To process payments and manage subscriptions
• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset)
• To improve the Service through aggregate, anonymized usage analysis

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your session transcripts to train AI models.

4. Third-Party Services

Supabase: We use Supabase to handle authentication and store your account data and session history. Your data is stored on Supabase's infrastructure. See Supabase's Privacy Policy.

Anthropic: Your practice session messages are sent to Anthropic's API to generate AI responses. Anthropic may process this data in accordance with their usage policies. We do not send your name or email address to Anthropic. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy.

Stripe: If you subscribe, payment is processed by Stripe. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data and session history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or billing purposes.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and row-level security on our database so that users can only access their own data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Object to or restrict certain processing of your data
• Receive a copy of your data in a portable format

8. Cookies

We use cookies solely to maintain your authenticated session. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but doing so will prevent you from staying logged in.

9. Children's Privacy

CommissionCoach is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
